Character Creation Rules

The campaign begins at 0 XP (Novice).

Allowed races: Human, Robot.

Construct: Robots lack organic bodies, but their positronic brains allow them sentient thought and emerging emotions. They add +2 to recover from being Shaken, do not suffer Wound modifiers, and are immune to human and animal poisons and diseases.
Electrical Susceptibility: Robots suffer an additional d6 damage when struck by electricity. This die may Ace.
Machine: Robots lack the ability to heal naturally. A Repair roll is required to treat their injuries. Each Repair roll requires 1d6 hours of work. They may not take the Fast Healer edge.
Outsider: Robots have some difficulty relating with humans. They subtract 2 from their Charisma when dealing with non-machines.
Psionic Immunity: Robots are immune to mind-affecting psionic powers. They may not take the Arcane Background (Psionics) edge.
Recharge: Robots require regular recharges in order to function. A robot must have access to a source of electrical power for an hour every day. Those who don’t are automatically Fatigued every day until they are Incapacitated. Once Incapacitated from lack of power, they must be recharged in order to re-activate.
Technosavvy: Robots start with a free d6 in Repair.
ROM Cartridges: For more information, see the page on ROM Cartridges.
